Welcome to Our A2 German Course! Building on the foundation established in our A1 course, the A2 course is designed for learners who are ready to take their German to the next level. Whether you are looking to improve your speaking, listening, writing, or reading skills, this course will help you gain the confidence to navigate everyday situations with ease and accuracy.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, you will:

Strengthen Your Grammar Skills: Dive deeper into German grammar, covering topics like modal verbs in the past tense, indirect questions, reflexive verbs, and relative clauses.
Engage in More Complex Conversations: Be able to converse in a wider range of everyday contexts, such as discussing past events, giving directions, expressing preferences, and handling simple workplace conversations.
Expand Your Vocabulary: Learn vocabulary that allows you to discuss broader topics, such as travel, health, shopping, and daily activities.
Enhance Your Writing and Reading Abilities: Develop the skills to write and understand simple texts, emails, and messages, as well as comprehend longer passages of written material.

The course is divided into modules, each addressing key aspects of language development:

Module 1: Advanced Grammar and Sentence Construction

Genitive Case: Understand how to use the genitive for expressing possession and relationships.
Verb Tenses: Revision of Perfekt tense and introduction to more complex past tense forms like Präteritum (simple past).
Subordinate Clauses: Learn how to form and use subordinate clauses with conjunctions such as weil, dass, wenn, and als.
Module 2: Modal Verbs and Complex Sentences

Modal Verbs in Präteritum: Learn how to express past abilities and obligations using modal verbs like "konnte," "sollte," etc.
Indirect Questions: Master the art of forming indirect questions, both W-questions and yes/no questions using "ob."
Adjective Declension: Practice the use of adjectives with definite and indefinite articles, both in the nominative and accusative cases.
Module 3: Vocabulary Expansion and Practical Communication

Daily Life and Routine: Build vocabulary related to work, hobbies, and daily activities, including expressions of time and frequency.
